Community Event Signage
The Community Event Signage Policy provides a clear, documented process of how event organisers may obtain approval to install temporary, short term community event signage in a number of locations within the Ballina Shire.
These sites have been identified as being suitable for the promotion of community events where signage infrastructure has been provided. Please be aware that there is no fee for hire for not for profit community organisations.
The signs are for the promotion of an authorised upcoming event that is being held within the Ballina Shire. These community events are to be of cultural, social or recreational nature and must encourage a high level of community participation, with strong benefits to the community.

Council is not able to accept bookings over the telephone or via email. All applications must be made on the approved booking form.
