Teven Reserve is a parcel of land at the corner of North Teven and Tintenbar Roads, at the confluence of Houghlahans Creek and Maguires Creek. It was purchased by Council in 2016 with the aim of re-establishing native riparian vegetation, creating a community space for nature-based recreation and to contribute to actions within the Richmond River Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP). Another aim was to add to the environmental benefits of riparian rehabilitation works undertaken by Council and Local Land Services on adjacent blocks of land as well as rehabilitation works undertaken by Tuckombil Landcare at Teven Park on Eltham Road.
Update: Please note the Teven Reserve Parkland works are currently on hold. Project timeframes are under review. Council will keep the community informed as we work towards resuming work at the site and completing the project.
