Return and Earn Bin Baskets

We’ve installed 50 ‘Return and Earn’ baskets on public bins across our parks, beaches, and town centres to keep recyclables out of landfill and reduce litter.

Instead of tossing your 10-cent containers in landfill bins, simply place them in a basket so community members and local groups can easily collect them for a refund.

NSW Government manages the Return and Earn program.

Billions of containers are returned through the program every year. By recycling bottles, cans and cartons, you’re helping our environment and earning along the way, putting money back into the hands of the community.

Return and Earn is the rewarding way to recycle your drink containers. Every container returned makes an impact.

You can return drink bottles and cans for a 10 cent refund at the Return and Earn vending machines at:

  • Ballina Fair, 284 Kerr St, Ballina
  • Return & Earn Depot, 20 - 22 De-Havilland Crescent, Ballina
