Facilities

Ballina Swimming Pool & Water Slide is located in the Ballina CBD next to the Richmond River. The up-to-date aquatic facility now includes:

  • FINA compliant 50m heated pool with eight 2.5m wide lanes for competition swimming and water polo
  • 25m x 15m heated enclosable pool, can be used for swimming lessons, children's play, lap swimming and rehabilitation
  • access ramps into all pools
  • wet play splash area for children
  • new amenities building 
  • transparent fencing along the Richmond River
  • enhanced landscaping.

Learn to Swim Initiative - Council recognises the importance of young children learning to swim and be safe around water. To support parents and carers who enrol their children in structured, fee paying 'Learn to Swim' programs, the supervising adult for a child/children attending a 'Learn to Swim' class will not be charged entry
Fundraising/special events - admission and hire fees by arrangement after written application to Council
